Outputs
An output is a rendered web page your broadcast software captures. Each workspace can have several, and each one represents a single channel that graphics can be taken on or off air.
Creating an output
From the control panel navbar, click Outputs → Configure outputs. The configuration modal lists every output in your workspace and lets you add new ones.
When creating an output, give it a clear name. The name is used throughout the control panel (in the rundown, the take buttons, and the channel switcher), so something concise and recognisable, like Program, Preview, or Backup, works better than Output 1.
The output URL
Every output has a stable URL that points at the rendered page. Add this URL once as a browser source in your broadcast software (OBS, vMix, Wirecast, etc.) and forget about it. Lumora will update what's on the page in real time as the operator takes graphics on and off air.
The URL contains a token that prevents random visitors from loading the output. If the URL ever leaks, refresh the token from the output's configuration. The previous URL stops working immediately, so update your broadcast software with the new URL before the next show.
Identifying outputs
If you've got several outputs running and need to confirm which is which on your monitor wall, use the Identify outputs feature in the configuration modal. It briefly overlays each output with its name so you can match them up at a glance without taking anything else on or off air.
How many outputs you can run
The number of outputs your workspace can have is set by your subscription tier. See Subscription plans for the per-tier limits. If you need more outputs than your current plan allows, you can either upgrade or contact us about a custom Enterprise arrangement.
